University Treasury is responsible for the safekeeping of Rutgers University's financial resources through oversight of working capital investments, cash management, banking, debt, and related processes, procedures, and controls.

Our Services

In support of the university's mission, our office:

monitors, assesses, and controls the investment of the university’s working capital;
issues debt and oversees compliance and monitoring/assessment of the university’s debt level, structure, and interest rate exposure;
manages cash for bank accounts, EFT transactions (i.e., wire transfers and ACH), payment cards (debit and/or credit cards), and
develops best practices, policies, and procedures for cash handling.
